KC Shepherd’s Center is committed to helping older adults feel more confident, competent, and safe using technology – whether that’s a Smartphone, iPad/tablet, or computer/laptop.
For Senior Living Service Coordinators and Activities Directors:
We can bring workshops especially designed for older adults to your location and/or provide individualized assistance with technology-related questions. The workshops offered are:
- Internet Basics: Participants learn about search engines, the internet, and how to navigate websites.
- Email Basics: Participants learn how to set up an email account and how to use email (including how to compose, reply, forward and organize email).
- Cybersecurity Basics: Participants learn about account and password security, how to spot online scams and fraud, and tips to keep yourself and your information safe online.
- Android Mobile Device Basics: Participants learn the features and functions of Android mobile devices and how to use and navigate apps.
