Barbara Mueth
Barbara Mueth, 72
Barb spent most of her career heading the marketing and communications programs for children’s hospitals in Little Rock, St. Louis and for 18 years as vice president of marketing for Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. After retirement in 2016, she continued her work with nonprofit organizations, holding part-time jobs with reStart and then KC Mothers in Charge, where she currently serves on the board. Today, she volunteers weekly with Meals on Wheels, the Jewish Family Services food pantry, and at Pawsperity. She also serves as a patient escort at Planned Parenthood, is on the development committee at SAVE, Inc., on the capital campaign cabinet for reStart, and as a member of the State Line Service League. When she and her husband traveled to Maui last fall after the devastating fires in Lahaina, they even spent a day volunteering at a food drive for the Maui Food Bank.
