Jane-Elyse Pryor, 77

Jane is dedicated to the refugee community in Kansas City and has been a beacon of hope for strangers in a new land. “She has formed deep and meaningful bonds with these families and is dedicated, kind, generous, and loving,” says her nominator. She has mentored families from the Central African Republic, Bosnia, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan. She also volunteers at KC Hospice, KC for Refugees, and the Hand of Welcome Refugee team at St. Andrew Christian Church. She regularly visits others who are in need of support for daily living, and she encourages others to become involved as well. Jane-Elyse worked at Hallmark Cards as an associate editorial director; at UMKC as a publications manager, and at WDAF-TV in Kansas City as a news writer.

  1. What Information Do We Collect? Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
