Jocelyn Melton, age +70
Jocelyn grew up in Kansas City and worked at the UMKC Dental School. She has five children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom are in Kansas City. She worked with the women’s group and House of Prayer. She loves bowling, working out, playing bingo, and traveling to Texas to visit her nephews. “I care for others,” Jocelyn says. “I’m a people person and I love working with others.” She has served as a patient ambassador with Centerwell and consistently shows her dedication to the health of seniors. “Every time Ms. Melton comes into our office, she always smiles and asks how everyone is doing,” her nominator says. “Her positivity radiates to everyone she comes in contact with. She lives her life to the fullest.”
