Marilyn Scott, 78

Marilyn Scott worked for the Social Security Administration for 38 years. She has served as president of the SSA Black Affairs Advisory Council and has been a volleyball coach for 15 years. Marilyn is a dedicated volunteer at St. Monica’s Church, where she has been a part of the music ministry for 35 years, an instructor for the “Praise in Motion” dance ministry and where she has written and produced gospel plays for the St. Monica Church. Marilyn also serves as a KCMO Election Board worker and is a member of the Mahogany Sisters Book Club.
