Sabrina Wiltz, age +70
Sabrina recently moved to Kansas City from Virginia, where she had worked with Meals on Wheels. She reached out as soon as she arrived here to become involved in our Meals on Wheels program, helping pick up leftover food at Starbucks for distribution to clients, and serving as an advocacy ambassador by hosting state and local leaders in rides with her along her delivery route. She previously volunteered at the Virginia Living Children’s Museum and now serves as a volunteer at Union Station. Sabrina says, “If I am not volunteering, I am with my three grandkids. We love to do arts and crafts projects together and I am currently teaching them to sew. I love my ‘Just Be Kind” shirt because that is how I try to live. If I can spread joy and make someone happy, I have done a good job that day.’”
