FREE Digital Literacy Classes
For those new to technology or those who need a refresher, KC Shepherd's Center is bringing a new series of four no-cost digital literacy workshops to our community through a grant from the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and AT&T:
- Internet Basics: Participants learn about search engines, the internet, and how to navigate websites.
- Email Basics: Participants learn how to set up an email account and how to use email (including how to compose, reply, forward, and organize email).
- Cybersecurity Basics: Participants learn about account and password security, how to spot online scams and fraud, and tips to keep yourself and your information safe online.
- Android Mobile Device Basics: Participants learn the features and functions of Android mobile devices and how to use and navigate apps.
Following these workshops and other designated dates, KCSC also provides individualized help with technology-related questions through "Office Hours".
